ASOT – A State Of Trance invited to this year’s ADE 10-hour Marathon
One year later and we are back in probably the coolest office building to ever exist: The Armada Headquarters in Amsterdam! Here the weekly radio show A State of Trance is being filmed – and that for over a thousand episodes already. Week by week over 40 million fans tune in when Armin van Buuren and his team show you what’s hot in trance right now.
Witnessing this showcase live is among the dreams of every fan, and during ADE this dream is being fulfilled for some of them!
Armada invites with a stacked line up for 10 whole hours of the who-is-who: artists like Ferry Corsten, Cosmic Gate, Nilsix and more present why they are as sought after as they are – before the host himself plays back to back with first HI-LO, Oliver Heldens alias, and Indira Paganotto as grand finale! The last two sets took place in the house-own club, which has one of the better sound systems you will find around! But before we ventured to the club, a little more about the radio-studio show:
At this very show, Armin van Buuren announces the first acts for the big ASOT weekender in Rotterdam, which will take place in February 2025.
Not only will he play a special b2b with superstar Maddix, who also graced the studio with a 20-minute set, but he will play an entire 5 (!) hours for you! Pinch us! The ADE event in the south of Amsterdam let fans be close to all their favorite artists, as they got to say hi to Guiseppe Ottaviani, Agents of Time, Ben Gold and Superstrings (who will perform at ASOT in Rotterdam too).
Ahmed Helmy, Hannah Laing and other artists mingled in the crowd after their sets, enjoying the sets of their fellow performers, while the team of Armada provided us with the most delicious drinks in the club, just two doors further from the studio! Trance makes you dance, and so we stepped until the last beats of this spectacle. This year we even got a guided tour through the offices where the busy team of Armada makes the magic happen.
Carrying the trance scene and pushing the limits further every year, this genre wouldn’t be close to where it is without these efforts. Armin van Buuren just got voted the #1 Trance DJ in the world in the DJ Mag Top 100 and we couldn’t agree more. Excited for the event in February, we will dream of this experience at the ASOT ADE Marathon until we step foot into these halls again!

We did not only visit the Armada HQ for ASOT though! One day later, we got to attend Jan Blomqvist Album-Pizza-Party!
The German artist (yes, not Skandinavian) showcased his new music, ranging in BPM and story. The pizza was deliscious, but Jan’s music keeps blowing our minds!
