Vladimir Cauchemar Drops Thumping Tony Romera Remix for ‘Snow Is Falling.’
Masked Parisian beat-maker Vladimir Cauchemar ups the tempo with a banging bass house remix courtesy of fellow French DJ / producer Tony Romera.
Tony Romera flips the original on its head and adds a monstrous rolling bass-line designed specifically for dance-floor domination. No stranger to the scene, Tony’s star’s been steadily rising, after a clutch of acclaimed releases on Toolroom, Fool’s Gold, Monstercat, Insomniac, OWSLA, Mad Decent, Spinnin, Armada and Confession. Not to mention official remixes for Calvin Harris, Diplo, MØ, Kungs, Madeon, Petit Biscuit and many more. He now lends his skills to Cauchemar’s vibrant track.
Vladimir says: “Tony’s big on the French bass house scene and his live sets are second to none. I had to get him on this track and it is a banger.”
Drawing a myriad of influences from Balearic grooves, old school house and alt-pop, ‘Snow Is Falling’ sees the Paris based beat-maker at his inimitable best, crafting intricate pop melodies with a deft touch.
With his signature skull mask, Vladimir Cauchemar quickly rose to fame thanks to a succession of exciting singles on Ed Banger Records, such as ‘Aulos’ (certified gold in France), an intoxicating melody played by recorder and completed with electro beats. The intriguing artist is a kind of modern Pied Piper, inventing a singular sound which proves impossible to resist. Many other singles followed, and an EP, ‘Brrr’ (2021).
The masked musician is also known for his collaborations with the elite of the French rap scene (including Orelsan,Lomepal, Eddy de Pretto, Laylow…), French pop superstar Clara Luciani and many international artists (6ix9ine, Alyona Alyona, Roméo Elvis, Chilla, Caballero & JeanJass…). He even found the time to design a capsule collection for the American footwear brand Crocs in 2021, which did not stop him from pursuing his main passion in music.
To date Vladimir Cauchemar has amassed over 268M global stream worldwide, over 43M views on YouTube and 1M+ monthly listeners on Spotify, his trajectory is most certainly on the rise.
