DJ and producer Melle Brown collaborates with music industry pioneer Annie Mac, who debuts her lyric writing and vocal abilities on new track, ‘Feel About You.’
‘Feel About You’ is a love letter to friendship, youth and nightclubbing. With a playful dance beat accompanied by Annie’s dulcet tones and story-like lyrics, the track is evocative of hazy days and long sultry nights, making it the perfect soundtrack for the summer. It’s a track about clubbing, destined to find its home in clubs around the world.
A blend of warm sound, a bumping bass line and jazz chords, the track was born from a house beat created by DJ & Producer Melle Brown. Additional production comes from Toddla T. When Annie Mac heard the beat, she couldn’t help but experiment with some lyrics. Weeks later, the three met up in Toddla T’s studio, where Annie lay down vocals and her own chorus.
Melle Brown’s distinct fusion of neo-soul, jazz and deep house has turned heads since the release of her EPs ‘Blossom’ and ‘Intersection’. With spins on her music coming from BBC Radio 1, BBC 6 Music, Kiss FM and more, the rising producer/DJ solidifies her tastemaker flair as a Reprezent Radio resident, and is hotly tipped by Mixmag, Notion & Beatport.
