Saint Punk reveals latest single off forthcoming album: ‘Ghost Blood’ (with MXMS)

Saint Punk has been laying waste to the scene with his ferocious Grunge House sound for quite some time now, but that doesn’t mean he shies away from exploring new sides to his musical artistry. More chilled yet as authentic as his previous work, ‘Ghost Blood’ sees him collaborate with American pair MXMS and deliver a track that sets the bar high for all other tracks featured on his forthcoming album project.

In the making since Saint Punk reimagined MXMS’ 2019 track ‘Gravedigger’, ‘Ghost Blood’ ties the L.A.-based producer’s lauded studio efforts to the innate musical brilliance of the U.S. duo. With vocals wandering through shadows and darkness as they hover atop a composed and emotive production, this is the kind of track that grips listeners and doesn’t let go.

“I first worked with MXMS back in 2019 when I remixed their single ‘Gravedigger'”, Saint Punk says. “We had always planned to work together in the future on an original Saint Punk tune. When the time came for the album, we knew it was the right timing.”

“‘Ghost Blood’ is a story of two very close friends in the throes of tragedy”, MXMS add. “One is losing the desire to keep going; the other is not sure what she can do to help, but is trying her best. Many thanks to Saint Punk for taking their saga to the dance floor.”

Born and bred in the heart of Los Angeles, Saint Punk started his music journey within the rock world before moving into the dance music space by 2018.

He has since been cultivating his Grunge House sound across the globe through official remixes for the likes of 3LAU, MXMS and BLVK JVCK, unofficial remixes for leading acts such as The Chainsmokers. Travis Scott, Kanye West and Nirvana, and a star-studded list of artist support that includes top dance music names such as David Guetta, Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike, Martin Garrix, Nicky Romero, Morgan Page and Steve Aoki.
