While the pandemic stripped artists away from stages and ushered them back into their homes, Riot Ten spent quarantine creating 13 obliterating tracks for his sophomore album Hype Or Die: Homecoming, out now on Dim Mak. Released ahead of Riot Ten’s 45-date Hype Or Die Tour, Homecoming simultaneously highlights Riot Ten’s trademark Hype Or Die sound as well as the artist’s more explorative sonic ventures.

Featuring a smorgasbord of supporting talent including STARX, Bok Nero, Dogma, and many more, Homecoming is an impressive conglomeration of Riot Ten’s newly discovered sounds in dubstep, riddim, trap, and house, making this album a rambunctious ride from start to finish. Headbangers’ thirst will be quenched with murderous standouts like “Get Out,” “Ready For War, and “Poppin, all of which extract the gnarliest, most ravenous of basses from the deepest corners of dubstep’s empire.

While “Came To Rage” echoes Riot Ten’s signature hard trap style, the artist showcases his evident versatility with a jubilant splash of house and sensual breakdowns in “Don’t You,” whereas reverberating freeform bass meets trap in “Break It. In its entirety, Homecoming is a lively display of artistic dynamism and serves as further evidence as to why Riot Ten remains at the tops of radars and playlists far and wide.

“Bar none, this album is the best body of work that I’ve ever created. I wanted to keep the essence of my signature “hype or die” sound, while also stepping outside of the box, and I couldn’t be happier with how it came out. When I first started the process, the goal was never to create a full-length album. However, with so much downtime during the pandemic, the ideas kept flowing and the songs compiled. This album really sums up who I am as a producer in the bass music world and I’m beyond excited to finally put it out.”  – Riot Ten

About Riot Ten:

Born and raised in El Paso, TX, Riot Ten exploded into the world of electronic music at the age of 22. Joining the Dim Mak Records family in 2017, with additional music out on Never Say Die, Bassrush and Excision’s “Rottun Records”, Riot Ten blasted off with four #1 top 100 dubstep singles and his music can be heard around the world from the likes of DJ Snake, Zeds Dead, The Chainsmokers, Excision and many more.

The 2017 single “Fuck It” became a staple on The Chainsmokers’ “Memories Do Not Open” tour. This success helped pave the way for “Rail Breaker”, his global smash in 2017, to become one of the most played out dubstep songs of the last decade. Following the release of “Rail Breaker”, Riot Ten dropped his debut EP with DIM MAK called Hype Or Die: The Dead in 2018, which recorded a top 10 debut on the iTunes “dance album” charts, a feat seldom seen by an artist in the genre.

He recorded another top 10 debut on the iTunes charts in 2019 with his debut album Hype Or Die: Nightmares. Outside of the music, Riot Ten has continued to record sell out shows around the world, touring his infamous “Hype Or Die” brand for 3 consecutive years. He also made appearances at EDC Las Vegas, Coachella, Lost Lands, Nocturnal Wonderland, Electric Zoo, EDC Mexico, Global Dance Festival, Electric Forest, Bass Canyon, Imagine Music Festival, and many more.
