CHEE Unveils His Next Bit of Artillery with “Quarter Inch” EP on Deadbeats

The stage is set for prolific beatmaker and sound engineer CHEE to unveil the next bit of artillery in his repertoire.

Recently named an artist to watch by Billboard Dance, you’ll soon begin to understand what the producer is up to with the release of his “Quarter Inch” EP available via Deadbeats on April 17th. Developing before our very eyes, in the last six months some of the biggest names in bass music have taken notice at the force this South African producer has become.

Chee’s deliberately aggressive and unrestrained compositions, like the pre-released Vultures and Blood Thirsty, are just a cornerstone for the 5 tracks of experimentation showcased within the entire project.

“Been working on my Quarter Inch EP for a little over a year now. It’s a 5 track, dance-floor heavy piece of work. Some of these songs I’ve been working on for years, but never really had the confidence to share until now. After the last two singles, I’m grateful this project found a home at Deadbeats. Hope everyone enjoys this from start to finish.” – CHEE

Looking to elevate his sound and place within the music community, the enigmatic producer goes all in on his “Quarter Inch” EP. Since erupting into the scene, Chee has gained support from Noisia, Amon Tobin, DJ Craze, Mat Zo, Culprate, G Jones and more. Continuously pushing musical boundaries, it’s no surprise to see others anticipating what the dominant bass producer has in store for us this year.
