Following previous singles ‘Never Erase You’ & ‘YOU’, GRAMMY-nominated duo Cosmic Gate are now set to unveil their highly awaited ‘Perspectives EP 2’, featuring brand-new track released yesterday in anticipation, and the finale to this long awaited project, ‘Heaven Knows’ with RYVM & Marlene.
Previously teased at their Tomorrowland Store rooftop set in Ibiza, the EP officially lands onto streaming platforms worldwide on 31st October. Taking lead on the EP tracklist is the recently released solo single; ‘YOU’ with Diana Miro. With a strong intro that leans into both the ambient and forward-thinking trance elements, it instantly piques the attention and curiosity of listeners with an energy that pushes forward, whilst also allowing space for the effervescent melody to step into the fore, whilst a hypnotic female vocal ties everything together.
Showcasing another dynamic edge to their current sound is the previously unreleased ‘Heaven Knows’, a collaboration with singers/songwriters RYVM and Marlene. Taking fans through a battle cry of emotions, where luminous synths build around vocals filled with warmth and longing, certain parts of the track are intense, whilst others bring in the cinematics that Cosmic Gate fans know and love.
Closing out ‘Perspectives EP 2’ is the first single from the project, the Diana Miro collaboration ‘Never Erase You’.
Currently sitting at over quarter of a million streams on Spotify alone, it glides with shimmering and deep, progressive tones — a sound that glows from the speakers, as Miro’s vocals effortlessly shift between grounded emotional resonance, and soaring-meets-celestial phrasing.
A follow-up to the fan favourite ‘Perspectives EP 1’ released back in March, Cosmic Gate continue to push boundaries with their forward-thinking sound evolution, as evident on the collection of tracks featured within this project.
