MAAHEZ has spent his career proving his sound translates anywhere people gather to sweat. The surging Cuban-American DJ and producer has cracked the code on what happens when house music meets its cooler, worldlier cousins. A bona fide highlight came at the 2020 Latin Grammy Awards, where he nabbed a nomination in the category of Best Urban Music Album after co-producing Sech and Farruko’s song “Arriba,” which appeared on the former’s album 1 of 1.
