Techno’s reigning queen Charlotte de Witte is throwing a party — and this one’s on the house. Together with Awakenings and BUD, she’s set to take over SugarFactory in Halfweg on Friday, October 24, for a free, one-of-a-kind daytime celebration marking the release of her highly anticipated new album.
Running from 16:00 to 20:00, this exclusive event invites fans to experience Charlotte’s sound that landed her DJ Mag’s #1 Techno Artist spot for the 5th year in a row. Tickets are free but limited, and only those who sign up between Friday, October 10 at 10:00 CEST and Saturday, October 11 at 10:00 CEST will have a shot at joining the party. Registration is open via charlottedewitte.com/ade and awakenings.com.
The Rave Spirit
Awakenings, Charlotte de Witte, and BUD are joining forces to create something special. By making the show free and accessible, they’re honoring the roots of rave culture: unity, openness, and shared experience over exclusivity.
Expect a pure Charlotte de Witte experience — her unmistakable, high-energy techno pulsing through a venue that’s about to make history. Fans will be treated to unreleased material from her upcoming album, woven seamlessly into the relentless, driving sound she’s known for.
But it’s not just about the music. This marks the first-ever rave at SugarFactory, a freshly opened cultural space in Halfweg that will be transformed into a beacon of sound and energy for one unforgettable afternoon.
Awakenings x ADE 2025 — A Monumental Season
This free event adds the eighth event to Awakenings’ ADE 2025 series — a lineup already filled with sold-out shows at SugarFactory. Awakenings is consistently reinventing how and where people connect through sound.
For over 27 years, Awakenings has set the global standard for techno events. With two flagship festivals — Awakenings Festival and Upclose — alongside countless indoor editions, the brand draws more than 300,000 visitors annually. From its monumental stage designs and immersive light shows to its carefully curated lineups, Awakenings continues to blend underground ethos with large-scale innovation.
And this year, they’re pushing things even further. During ADE 2025, all Awakenings events will operate under a strict no photo / no video policy. Phones will be camera-covered at the entrance — not to restrict, but to free ravers from their screens.
