Superpoze Shares Highly-Anticipated Fourth Studio Album ‘Siècle’ – Out Now

Superpoze

Celebrated French producer and composer Superpoze returns with brand new album ‘Siècle’, his most ambitious and refined work to date, out today via Banville.

Returning with his fourth, and most accomplished, studio album, ‘Siècle’, composer, performer, and producer Superpoze delivers a bold new work, eight electronic compositions that pulse with life, flicker with intensity, and fade with a haunting beauty. Both visceral and cerebral, ‘Siècle’ explores the passage of time in a sonic landscape where acoustic and electronic elements collide, contradict, and coalesce.

Over the past decade, Superpoze has carved out a unique place in contemporary electronic music. Known for his sensitive yet technically precise approach, he has created a body of work that bridges the emotional and the experimental. His debut album ‘Opening’ (2015) introduced a melancholic and strikingly original sound, while ‘Nova Cardinale’ (2022) expanded his palette, weaving together baroque instruments and synthetic textures into a genre-defying dialogue across centuries.

With ‘Siècle’, Superpoze unifies these threads into a singular vision, one that reimagines a decade of musical exploration. The result is a cutting-edge album of raw intensity, where beauty emerges not delicately, but through friction. To create ‘Siècle’, the artist began by collecting melodies and timbres that haunted him. Piano harmonies met machine-born textures, layered and sculpted into cohesive works, shaped, as he describes it, “from chaos.” Central to the album’s forward motion are its percussive foundations, precise, driving rhythms primarily crafted with a TR-909 drum machine. These relentless beats become the architecture upon which spectral voices, piano arpeggios, and deep synthetic basslines roam freely.

In what can be considered a pure dynamic interplay, ‘Siècle’ utilises instruments and machines that interact with tension, each element reacting chemically to what came before. This friction gives rise to a visceral energy, carved with spaces of silence, strings, and organic textures that pierce through the towering structures of electronic sound. Opening track ‘Statues’ sets the tone with pulsating rhythms and luminous collisions. ‘Obsession’ follows, repeating its motif with haunting elegance, while the title track ‘Siècle’ forms the album’s beating heart, a cinematic piece built around a looping piano theme that feels both intimate and vast.

The result is a transformative listening experience, both immersive and sharp. ‘Siècle’ leads the listener through confrontation and catharsis, into a sense of peace found only after facing chaos. The album becomes a reflection of our time, a memory and a prophecy, a world within the world. Like the burning tree that adorns its cover, ‘Siècle’ is a testament to transformation, where desire, fear, passion, and fury leave their mark. And from the ashes, something luminous emerges.

With previous landmark performances for Boiler Room, Cercle, and The Lot Radio, and his boldest album on the horizon, 2025 is shaping up to be a defining year for Superpoze, an artist at the intersection of innovation, emotion, and sonic craft.
