After making a strong entrance with his 2024 debut single “Different” (feat. ANNABEL), which earned over 20,000 Spotify streams and high praise from Toolroom’s Pete Griffiths, rising house producer and DJ Toby James returns with “Uno Mas” — a groove-packed, Latin-infused tech house cut, out 25th July 2025 on Sting Recordings.
A track tailor-made for peak-time dancefloors, Uno Mas blends punchy percussion, hypnotic grooves, and catchy Latin vocals to capture the essence of summer nightlife. Already turning heads in the scene, DJ/producer Tommy Farrow calls it a “great record — proper summer tune.”
Toby James discovered his love for house music in 2011 at Café Mambo, Ibiza, watching Bob Sinclar play as the sun set — a defining moment that sparked a lifelong connection to rhythm and melody. He went on to master piano and drums, laying the foundation for his infectious, vibe-driven sound. By 2021, he was DJing regularly, bringing energy and good vibes to clubs and beachside venues. His debut release “Different” was praised as “anthemic, classy & energetic” by Toolroom’s Pete Griffiths, helping cement his reputation as a producer to watch.
Now, with Uno Mas, Toby shares his most personal work to date:
“Music has always been a constant in my life. I was lucky enough to meet Adam (One For The People) at uni, and signing to Sting Recordings has given me the platform to bring my vision to life. This release is deeply personal — it reflects the sounds I grew up with. My dad introduced me to house music culture from the age of seven: dancing outside Mambo’s, waiting with the bouncers while my mum and dad raved inside. It’s a milestone for me — a way to channel the raw energy of the dancefloor, blend nostalgia with forward-thinking club music, and share a piece of who I am through sound.” — Toby James
