Globally-acclaimed British DJ/Producer Revelle27 (aka Laurie Revell, one half of Just Kiddin) announces his emotionally charged debut album REVELATIONS set for release in October, alongside the release of a bold new single “On A Mission” out today – a sleek, feel-good track built for late nights, open-air dancefloors, and everything in between.
Released via Revelle27’s new independent label Dance Music Therapy, “On A Mission” sets the tone for what’s to come: club-rooted energy with a deeper emotional charge. Powered by crisp percussion, kinetic rhythm and warm basslines, the track captures the raw euphoria of the dancefloor – a vibrant reflection of the deeply personal material behind the album.
Out later this year, REVELATIONS is a landmark solo debut – a raw, cinematic dance album that explores grief, memory, and healing through an electronic lens. The project was born from a period of personal transformation, following a long hiatus Laurie took to care for his mother before her passing. Threaded across the album are fragments of voice notes – unfiltered recordings captured during one disorienting night spent searching for something to ease his mother’s pain. Appearing on six of the tracks, they act as emotional anchors, charting a journey that begins in desperation and unfolds into self-discovery, stitching the album’s narrative with raw honesty.
Revelle27 became Laurie’s new creative identity – a vessel for processing hard times, rediscovering joy, and creating honest, emotionally charged music with a euphoric core. His sound fuses late-night club energy with poignant storytelling and heartfelt intention. Despite the heavy themes, REVELATIONS is ultimately life-affirming: club-ready, cathartic, and made for movement.
Revelle27 says of the album: “I don’t know what I would have done without this album. It gave me something to focus on during the most difficult time of my life. REVELATIONS includes recent singles “Mother,” “THC,” “Hands of Time,” and “She Was a Dancer”, which have already picked up support from BBC Radio 1, KISS, and Mixmag, cementing Revelle27 as one of the most emotionally resonant new voices in underground electronic music. The full album with many more highly-anticipated records will be released in October, 2025.
