Alexis Knox Joins Forces with Princess Superstar for a Fresh Take on “Perfect (Exceeder)”

Alexis Knox teams up with Princess Superstar for a fresh, new-age spin on the iconic dance anthem “Perfect (Exceeder),” following the success of her disco-laced hit “Through The Night” and marking her return to Perfect Havoc.

London-based, independent dance label Perfect Havoc welcomes the ever-popular Alexis Knox for the second time in less than a month with the addition of her latest single. Colliding with American Rapper and DJ Princess Superstar on “Perfect – Want Some More?” the fierce female pairing serves up an explosive reimagination of a cult track that has achieved almost incomprehensible success since the original hit No. 3 in the UK in 2007 – produced by Dutch producer extraordinaire, Mason – after going viral in the smash streaming series, Saltburn.

A new-age classic from the first beat, “Perfect – Want Some More?” is a celebration of catchy Garage House goodness that continues to rip through the global dance music scene with its insatiable energy and endless danceability.

Bringing together ravey nuances, big-bottomed beats, head-turning sampling and Princess Superstar’s grippingly nostalgic vocal topline, it’s guaranteed to keep you on your toes whether you’re on the dancefloor or immersed in your favourite dance playlist.

Alexis Knox is a dynamic DJ and producer known for her high-energy sets that light up dancefloors worldwide. From her residency at Heaven London to performances at Ibiza’s Eden, she delivers an unstoppable vibe. Alexis has DJed alongside Charli xcx, headlined events for brands like Red Bull and Converse, and graced stages from Tokyo to Milan’s Fashion Week.

Her debut track “Higher” on Perfect Havoc hit #3 on the iTunes Dance Chart with over 2 million streams, while follow-ups like “Sober” and “HERE 4 U” earned spots on Spotify’s top playlists, cementing her as a rising star in dance music.

Princess Superstar, renowned for mentoring Lana Del Rey early on, continues to shine as a multifaceted artist. She has worked alongside Margaret Cho, appeared on Inside Amy Schumer, and in 2023, released the introspective track “Who Am I Now” and a bass-heavy rework of Hamdi’s Perfect titled “Counting”, which topped the Beatport charts with support from Skrillex and Marshmello.

Riding the new wave of success of “Perfect (Exceeder)” including a remix by David Guetta, Princess Superstar in collaboration with Alexis Knox is set to elevate both artists at the close of an impressive 2024.

Now knocking on the door of a landmark tenth year, Perfect Havoc remains at the forefront of crossover dance music, redefining the genre with a trailblazing approach. Boasting over 11 billion global streams, six UK Top 20 singles, and a glittering array of platinum, gold, and silver awards, the label continues to set new standards for creativity with every release.
