Low Steppa to Headline as Love to Be… Reignites at Mint Warehouse”

After a sold-out event in February, Love to be… returns to Leeds to continue their 30th anniversary celebrations with another stellar lineup at Mint Warehouse.

Mint Warehouse in Leeds has played a pivotal role in the UK’s underground dance scene since opening in 2012. Known for its raw, industrial aesthetic and top-tier sound system, it has become a go-to venue for house, techno, and bass music.

This November Love to be… returns with a carefully curated lineup featuring Low Steppa, known for his distinct house sound and solid remixes. Joining him is Groove Assassin, bringing deep, soulful house vibes, while Lisa Millet adds her signature vocals to the mix. Trimtone rounds off the night with a set that balances groove with a modern touch, staying true to Love to be…’s ethos of delivering quality, uplifting tunes for a fantastically diverse crowd.

Hosting Room 2 is the Leeds-based crew Afterhrs who return after killing it with their blend of quality, party-ready house music back in February.

Seminal club night, record label and one of the cornerstone’s of the UK early House music scene, the influence of Love to be… cannot be understated. Celebrating their 30th anniversary in 2024, this much-loved brand has hosted a number of sold-out parties across the UK and globally, culminating their own Love to be… Festival at The Stray, Harrogate in September.

As the largest dance music event ever held in Harrogate, the festival not only celebrated the past three decades of house music but also emphasised community impact. Partnering with The Ostrich Foundation, a local charity focused on youth mental health, the festival raised awareness and support for suicide prevention.

Championed as the ‘North’s original super club’ and winner of numerous awards, Love to be… set the standard for house music events in the UK. With cutting edge club decor, stilt walkers, flamboyant dancers and hosts, coupled with the finest resident DJs supporting world class guests, Love to be… built a huge following and remains a hugely influential force to this day.

Low Steppa

Launching the festival was a huge leap of faith. It was a significant risk for us, both financially and logistically, but we felt it was the right way to celebrate such a milestone. The response has been overwhelming, far exceeding our expectations.

“Seeing thousands of people come together to celebrate house music, just like in the 90s but with a modern twist, was truly special. We couldn’t have asked for a better way to mark three decades of Love to be….” Tony Walker and Marc Dennis

As well as being the directors of Love to be… Tony and Marc, record and perform as Trimtone, and have gained acclaim around the globe for their productions, radio shows and DJ sets. Both Tony and Marc have a deep history in the music industry as DJs and Producers, having played shows and held residencies at the world’s best venues including Space, Ministry of Sound, Pacha, Sankeys, We Are FSTVL, Amnesia and Fabric to name just a few.
