After three days of relentless techno at the iconic Gashouder, Awakenings decided to push the boundaries even further.
In addition to hosting a party at the Westergasfabrik, they simultaneously took over the massive Ziggo Dome in Amsterdam! The event everyone had been buzzing about finally arrived: Awakenings x Amelie Lens Pres. Exhale, and it did not disappoint. With an incredible lineup, this show was the talk of the city, and for good reason.
The Belgian techno powerhouse, Amelie Lens, never fails to deliver, and this event was no exception. Held in the southern part of Amsterdam, the production was as spectacular as ever. Alongside Amelie, techno titans like Nico Moreno and Patrick Mason delivered their signature hard beats, making the night unforgettable.
When we arrived, we caught the final moments of a powerful set by the French DJ Antha. The energy in the room was captivating, with everyone eagerly anticipating the moment Amelie Lens would take over. As the clock struck 2:30 a.m., it was finally time—Amelie Lens, the techno superstar herself, took control of the decks. The entire hall erupted, and it was impossible not to move as the bass shook the foundation of the Ziggo Dome. Amelie once again reminded us why she’s a global headliner, and why her sets are unmissable.
Immediately following Amelie’s set came one of the most highly anticipated acts of the night: the multi-talented Patrick Mason.
Known for more than just his impeccable techno selections, Patrick brings a full performance to the stage, blending hard-hitting beats with his captivating dance moves. His infectious energy spread through the crowd like wildfire, and watching the entire Ziggo Dome bounce along with him was a sight to behold. From our vantage point on the balcony, we had the perfect view of the stunning light show, pyrotechnics, and, of course, Patrick’s showstopping dance performance. It was a feast for the senses, a perfect synthesis of music, visuals, and raw energy.
As we descended from the balcony, we found ourselves surrounded by a group of Nico Moreno fans—signaling that it was time for the grand finale. The French maestro took to the stage and squeezed every last ounce of energy from the crowd, driving us to dance until the final kickdrum dropped.
Once again, the Awakenings team has outdone themselves, crafting an unforgettable night of techno magic.
