‘Riot Disco’ is the first fruits of Fedele’s ventures following his split from Agents of Time early in 2021. Landing on Maceo Plex’s Ellum Audio, the track is a brooding slice of machine funk that sees the formidable producer settling into his solo sessions with real purpose.
The video for ‘Riot Disco’, realized by his own creative team, is equally powerful and centers on human dance shot through with electronic glitches and mutations.
“I’ve always dreamed of merging arts; music, visual art and dance, and I’d been thinking about having all of those elements on my future live shows, but for obvious reasons, plans were paused last year. As such, I decided a video for my ‘Riot Disco’ release would make sense. It was possible thanks to amazing teamwork between artists in Bari, Barcelona and Beirut. At the moment, national boundaries are like insurmountable walls, so this collaborative work let me understand the real power and purpose of art: gathering different cultures to contribute beauty to the reality!” – Fedele
