Ravenscoon and Wiley Link up on Hulking, Wub-Heavy Experimental Dubstep Single “STOMP OUT” via Bassrush Records – OUT NOW

Ravenscoon and Wiley

San Francisco-based Ravenscoon combines strengths with Indianapolis native Wiley for their new collab, a hulking and wub-heavy experimental dubstep single.

Atlanta-born, San Francisco-based producer Ravenscoon joins forces with Indianapolis native Wiley on their weighty new single “STOMP OUT,” landing October 17th via Bassrush Records. Both artists have carved distinct paths within the experimental bass and dubstep underground, and this collaboration finds them colliding in full force.

“STOMP OUT” is a hulking slab of low-end pressure, its modulating leads and laser-etched sound design sparring in a call-and-response frenzy. The track lunges forward with exaggerated wubby scales and chaotic rhythmic bursts, reveling in its own unruly excess while maintaining razor-sharp production detail. True to its title, the single throws its weight around with unapologetic intensity, blurring the edges between experimental dubstep, trap, and halftime.

Speaking to their longstanding friendship that led to a seamless process working on the collab, WIley shares: “Paul (Ravenscoon) was one of the first artists I connected with early on, and he’s been a great peer to have in my corner since the beginning. We’ve been talking about working together for a while, so I’m really excited we were able to make it happen.”

For Ravenscoon, the release extends a banner year marked by a 25-date headline tour and high-profile festival plays at Beyond Wonderland Chicago, Deadbeats Jamboree, Lost Lands, WAKAAN Festival, Metamorphosis, Symmetry, and Seven Stars. He has also curated his own ‘Hometown Throwdown’ event series in Atlanta at The Eastern, further establishing himself as a leader in the next wave of bass music.

Wiley continues his rise as one of the most fearless innovators in the experimental bass sphere. From early roots in hip-hop beat-making to standout festival sets at Bass Canyon, Seven Stars and Lost Lands, his sound is defined by abrasive textures and cavernous atmospheres that shift between menace and beauty.

His recent ‘Rug Burn’ EP earned widespread acclaim, while collaborations with artists like Wreckno, Brainrack, Gunpoint, and Jordnmoody have solidified his reputation as a boundary-breaker. With support already in from titans including Excision, Subtronics, Liquid Stranger, Mersiv, and Tape B, Wiley now steps into the spotlight with live support slots for Lumasi and HEYZ at their respective shows at Denver’s Ogden Theatre, along with an opening slot at Excision’s legendary ‘Armory’ event in Minneapolis.

Together on “STOMP OUT,” Ravenscoon and Wiley strike a balance between their unique approaches: southern-rooted eclecticism meeting Midwest-born grit. The result is a collision of styles that feels both uncompromising and playful, marking a milestone collaboration for two artists redefining the contours of heavy bass.

Paul Conversano, aka RAVENSCOON, is an electronic music producer and DJ from Atlanta, Georgia, who combines influences of punk rock, metal, and hip-hop, with experimental bass music. RAVENSCOON’s unique flair of southern roots compliment pulsating dream-like bass lines and psychedelic arpeggios to create something uniquely fresh yet also familiarly nostalgic.

His passion and love for electronic music is present in both his original songs and his wildly popular mixtape series. No genre goes untouched – from dubstep, wave, trance, rap, trap, drum & bass, halftime, psytrance, and more – each RAVENSCOON live set is unlike anything you’ve ever experienced before. From sold out headlining shows to supporting industry-leading bass music acts – RAVENSCOON has made a statement that he’s just getting started.

Wiley (Jackson Wiley) is a visionary artist hailing from Indianapolis, Indiana, who has rapidly made his mark in the world of experimental bass and dubstep. From an early age, music production has been his compass, guiding him through the sonic landscape of beats and rhythms. In high school, his passion for creating music took root, and by the time he reached college, he was already lending his talent to a rap collective, refining his skills in producing hip-hop beats.

This foundational period helped shape the artist and producer he would become, ultimately laying the groundwork for his unique sound. Under the moniker “Wiley,” Jackson has developed an experimental approach to music, creating a sound that defies conventional boundaries.

His music is known for its visceral intensity, where violent, gritty soundscapes collide with deep, abyssal basslines and expansive, otherworldly atmospheres. The result is a sonic journey that evokes both visceral tension and serene transcendence, taking listeners on an experience that is as unsettling as it is beautiful. Since adopting the Wiley name, his work has caught the attention of some of the most influential figures in the bass music scene.

Artists such as Excision, Subtronics, Liquid Stranger, Mersiv, Tape B, Ravenscoon, A Hundred Drums, Wreckno, Super Future, Smoakland, and others have praised his bold creativity and boundary-pushing sound. 2023 proved to be a monumental year for Wiley, marking his ascension to the main stage at Sound Haven and a standout performance at Lost Lands, where he cemented his place as one of the most promising talents in electronic music. This success set the stage for an even more explosive 2024, as Wiley went on a wildly successful tour with Tape B, bringing his high-energy performances to new cities and gaining a whole new fanbase.

But the momentum didn’t stop there. In early 2025, Wiley released his much-anticipated 3-track EP Rug Burn through Wubaholics. The EP, with its genre-defying blend of intense bass and experimental elements, took his career to new heights, receiving widespread acclaim and attention from fans and critics alike. This release marked a turning point, propelling him into the next level of recognition and establishing 2025 as another massive year for Wiley.

With his Rug Burn EP solidifying his reputation as an innovator and his relentless drive to explore the depths of sound, Wiley is poised to continue reshaping the landscape of experimental bass and dubstep. As he brings his unique vision to the world stage, there is no doubt that the future is incredibly bright for this sonic sorcerer. Prepare for the unexpected. With Wiley, you’re not just listening to music – you’re embarking on a transformative journey through sound itself.
