If there’s one festival that knows how to make a final summer weekend count, it’s Decibel Outdoor. From August 28 to 30, Beekse Bergen will once again transform into a massive playground for harder styles, bringing three days of hardstyle, raw, hardcore, euphoric and everything in between to one of the most unique festival locations in the Netherlands.
And honestly? The location alone is worth getting excited about.
The Loudest Safari on Earth?
Imagine spending your festival weekend surrounded by forests, sandy beaches, lakes and winding paths, but instead of spotting lions or giraffes, you suddenly hear a massive kick roll coming from somewhere behind the trees. (You could still see the animals, depending on what accommodation you book btw.)
The festival takes place across approximately 40 hectares of Beekse Bergen, with water, woodland and open areas creating a completely different atmosphere from your average festival field. The combination of nature and harder styles is wonderfully chaotic: one moment you’re dancing next to the lake, the next you’re wandering through a forest, and before you know it you’re standing in front of another stage wondering how you somehow ended up there.
And that is exactly how Decibel should be experienced: explore.
It is the final Hardstyle weekender of this outdoor season. So before the tents come down, the temperatures drop and we all start pretending indoor season is actually just as exciting, it’s time to squeeze every last drop of summer out of this one.
Friday: Start Loud, Finish Louder
Friday is the perfect warm-up for the madness ahead. The festival officially opens at 15:00 and continues until 01:00, with the Dark Hours kicking in from 22:00 and turning up the visual spectacle with lights, lasers and fire.
One of my personal Friday must-sees is Phuture Noize on the Mainstage at 22:00. If you’re looking for that perfect combination of emotional melodies, atmosphere and proper hardstyle power, this is where I’d be.
And then? Don’t even think about leaving early.
From 00:15–01:00, Paul Elstak & DYEN take over the Mainstage for the Friday closing. That pairing alone should tell you exactly what kind of night this is going to be.
But the festival doesn’t necessarily stop when the Mainstage does.
The night continues at the campsite
For those staying at the Lakeside camping, the City Hall becomes one of the places to keep an eye on after the festival grounds close. Afterparties are happening every day, with heavyweight names such as Radical Redemption making an appearance.
Because obviously, after dancing for hours, the logical thing to do is… dance some more.
Saturday: The Mainstage Reveal
Saturday is where Decibel really goes into full festival mode.
The festival opens at 13:00, and this year there’s an extra reason to get there early: the actual mainstage will be revealed on Saturday.
And who better to open it than Geck-o?
From 13:00–14:30, Geck-o presents Nature’s Rhythm, and this is, in my opinion, a must-see. His sets always bring something different to the table, and opening the newly revealed mainstage feels like exactly the kind of Decibel Outdoor moment you want to experience rather than hear about afterwards.
Then take a trip back in time
At 15:45–17:00, make your way back to the Mainstage for something rather special: Audiofreq’s rare classic Hardstyle set.
If you love the roots of the genre, this is one for the schedule. Classic Hardstyle on a festival of this scale is always a beautiful reminder of where we all started many years ago.. and Audiofreq is more than capable of turning nostalgia into a full-blown rave.
Euphoric hour: Jay Reeve
Later in the evening, give your legs a break from the raw kicks and head over to the Euphoric stage.
At 20:00–21:15, Jay Reeve is bringing the melodies. And if you’re anything like me, there’s something incredibly satisfying about switching from aggressive kicks to hands-in-the-air euphoric hardstyle right when the sun starts disappearing.
Then it’s back to the Mainstage for the final stretch.
At 00:00–00:45, Neophyte takes the stage — and when his set is over, expect Decibel to send Saturday night into the sky with a massive firework.
Sunday: Savage Mode Activated
And then comes Sunday.
The day when your legs are asking questions, your voice has disappeared somewhere around Saturday evening, and you suddenly realize that this is the last outdoor Hardstyle festival weekend of the summer.
So what do you do? Absolutely everything.
One important thing to know: stage locations change again on Sunday, so don’t rely on yesterday’s route. Keep the Decibel app open and use the map to navigate your way around the grounds.

Start with some Raw Classics
At 13:00, Sub Sonik opens the Raw Classics stage.
That sounds like a pretty damn good way to start the final festival day to me.
Sunday’s lineup is packed with names from across the harder styles spectrum, including Radical Redemption, Ran-D, Wildstylez, Sub Zero Project, Zany & Max Enforcer and plenty more.
But here’s my biggest Sunday recommendation:
Don’t plan too much.
Yes, you read that correctly.
Don’t spend Sunday trying to perfectly optimize your timetable.
Bounce around, explore, follow the sound coming from somewhere you didn’t know existed.
Take a wrong turn, find a tiny side stage, join one of the Savage Sunday parades, ride the Ferris wheel.
Grab food by the water, dance somewhere completely random, then suddenly realize you’ve spent 45 minutes at a stage you never even planned to visit and had one of the best sets of the weekend!
That’s the Decibel Outdoor experience.
And with the entire festival area spread across the unique landscape of Beekse Bergen, Sunday is the perfect day to actually take it all in instead of spending the entire afternoon staring at your schedule.

And yes, I can personally confirm that festival tattoos are a thing.. I got mine in 2024.

Decibel Outdoor 2026 is shaping up to be much more than three days of DJs playing hard dance music.
