The Italian breakout producer MashBit teams up with LA’s powerhouse production pair Syence to release their earth-shattering progressive house collab.
Italian composer, multi-instrumentalist, and producer MashBit has emerged as a breakout sensation in the electronic scene, renowned for his melodic, emotionally-charged soundscapes. Synence is an L.A.-based duo that has been melding melodic elements into a myriad of soulful dance tracks. Uniting their talents comes “Crashing Down,” a cataclysmic progressive house offering arriving by way of Lost In Dreams Records.
“Crashing Down” is an epic vocal-driven anthem that continues to signify the triumphant return of progressive house. Forlorn vocal bends and stirring melodics lay the emotional framework. The captivating topline examines the feeling when the weight of the world becomes too much, while its raspy delivery invokes a sense of empathy that pulls at the heartstrings. Pulse-raising arps and looped vocals charge up the tension before the whole piece collapses. A driving four-on-the-floor drum pattern pushes the track forward alongside nostalgic synths, striking vocalizations, pulsing melodic leads, and pensive piano keys. Mixing cinematic atmospherics and a brooding symphonic drive, “Crashing Down” is an emotional epic.

MashBit opens up about how the single came together, saying, “‘Crashing Down’ is one of those rare tracks where everything clicked effortlessly. We brought our unique styles together to create something that’s as emotionally powerful as it is sonically explosive. We really wanted to go for a perfect blend of energy and heart for our fans!”
Expanding on the collaboration, Syence offers their perspective, adding, “What started out as the first time meeting our buddy MashBit turned into one of the most anthemic and powerful tracks we’ve ever made.”

MashBit, born Dariush Mash in Sardinia, Italy, has been exposed to music and different cultures from the tender age of 3, when he started to “play drums” by beating two spoons against a pillow, while following the rhythm of the song that was playing on the radio. As he grew older, he picked up more instruments including the guitar, piano, drums, which eventually led him to music production and composition. Knowing this passion could turn into a career, Dariush enrolled in a collegiate program and got his degree in Music Composition and Recording Technology, and after graduating in 2019, he started the MashBit project.
