Scottish producer KC Lights has linked up with rising electronic talent Emily Nash on a euphoric remix of her huge single ‘Garden’, out today on Ministry of Sound.
Since its release in January the original track has smashed 2 million global streams and received strong backing from tastemakers including BBC Radio 1’s Pete Tong, Charlie Hedges and Jaguar, who all selected it as their respective hottest track of the week.
Over the last few months Nash, who’s used to producing from her bedroom, has made her DJing debut at iconic venues including Printworks and The Warehouse Project, where she played alongside MK and Paul Woolford. She has also been announced on several festival line-ups for the summer including Creamfields and BBC Radio 1’s Big Weekend.
At only 21 years old, Worcestershire-born DJ and producer Emily has made an instant impact. A rare gem in the electronic world, she’s a young female producer who has already remixed for Navos and Little Mix; her own debut singles have racked up plays on BBC Radio 1, Capital and Kiss and led to her being included on both Beatport and Amazon’s prestigious “Ones To Watch” features for 2022.
The work of one of British dance music’s most exciting new talents, KC Lights’ new version of ‘Garden’ hints that this huge tune will be around for a long time to come.
