X & Ivy announce latest EP ‘Broken Jam’ out March 26th, and share latest single ‘Could This Be Love’ via Bradley Zero’s prolific Rhythm Section, out now. Opening the project with ‘Back in 10’ the boys take no time in bringing the heat, with a warped synth-driven sonic sound that elevates the energy whilst nodding to their production prowess. It’s a pumping track ready-made for the clubs and signs of the festival season fast approaching.

Title track ‘Broken Jam’ then takes the reins with its ever so slightly more melodic tones. It’s a steady groover, and amplifies X & Ivy’s ability to traverse genres. Moving forwards, the project then shifts into ‘Could This Be Love’ with its drums perhaps a misconception prior to the melody that brings a euphoric glisten and uplifting chords intertwined with soulful backing vocals. X and Ivy then close out with ‘Zen Hotline’, an ever so slightly more tech-focused track mixed with bouncing beats and whirling sirens, as they signal their intent for what is to be a massive year for the duo.
Speaking on the release, X & Ivy explain: “This release grew out of a year of friendship with Bradley and the sense of home he’s given us in London. Coming after our appearance on the Rhythm Section Shouts 2025 compilation, this EP leans deeper into our love of house music, built for warm rooms and long nights.”
X & Ivy have steadily built a reputation for fusing the raw pulse of early Chicago house and Detroit techno with the breakbeat energy, acid textures, and progressive flair of ’90s UK rave culture. Their collaborative single with house legend Todd Edwards, ‘Keep Me’, received major support from Danny Howard, Pete Tong, Sarah Story, and with releases on Life and Death, Nervous Records, Big Trouble Records, and Rhythm Section, the two have cemented their standing within the global underground.
With performances including Home Again Festival (Berlin), opening for Peggy Gou, a guest mix for Gudu, a Book Club Radio set surpassing 200K views, and online support from Clash, Mixmag, Ransom Note, and Beatport, the duo’s momentum continues to build. This new EP marks a confident step forward, a focused, floor-driven release that captures X & Ivy at their most direct and club-ready.
