Brazilian electronic music artist Mochakk will bring his acclaimed party series, Mochakk Calling, to OFFSónar, Barcelona’s leading electronic music week platform, on June 20 at the iconic Plaza Mayor stage at the Poble Espanyol. OFFSónar, part of the official Sónar week series, is recognised for curating some of the city’s most innovative electronic music programming, pairing internationally acclaimed artists with venues that reflect Barcelona’s distinct cultural identity.
Following sold-out editions in São Paulo, Lisbon, Miami, New York, Amsterdam, Buenos Aires, and Sydney, along with the 2025 debut of Mochakk Calling Festival in Malta, the series has quickly become one of the most in-demand brands in contemporary electronic music. The Barcelona edition will feature a line-up from Mochakk’s MOTRAXX label alongside special surprise guests.
Fresh off his inclusion on the newly announced Coachella 2026 lineup for both weekends, Mochakk returns to Barcelona following his 2025 closing set to a full house on the Sónar mainstage, making his collaboration with OFFSónar and Mochakk Calling a natural continuation of that momentum. As part of the official Sónar week program, OFFSónar reinforces Barcelona as a key stop for Mochakk Calling, bringing the series to a city renowned for its electronic music culture and global tastemaker influence.
Mochakk (aka. Pedro Maia) is one of Brazil’s leading electronic music exports. The artist had a major international breakthrough in 2023 with “Jealous” on CircoLoco Records, followed by his “Locomotiva Ibiza 2099” I & II EPs on the label. Known for his sharp production style and genre-fluid sound, his catalogue includes standout hits such as “Da Fonk” featuring Joni, which has surpassed 50 million streams on Spotify alone.
His rapid rise has seen him perform at leading festivals and clubs worldwide, including Coachella, Glastonbury, Primavera Sound, Time Warp, Panorama Bar, Sunny Hill Festival, and Sónar, alongside his ongoing CircoLoco residency at DC-10 Ibiza, and a sold-out Hollywood Boulevard show in Los Angeles to a crowd of 12,000 people. In parallel, Mochakk Calling has become a global event brand, selling out editions across major cities before expanding into the Mochakk Calling Festival in Malta in 2025, featuring headliners such as Honey Dijon, Seth Troxler, and Mall Grab. In 2025, Mochakk debuted on Ninja Tune with the “From the Stars” EP and released an official remix of PinkPantheress’ “Noises”, with new music and upcoming MOTRAXX label compilations set for 2026, spotlighting the next wave of Brazilian electronic music talent.
Tickets for Mochakk Calling Barcelona at OFFSónar are on sale now. Early bird and first release tickets have sold out due to high demand. Remaining tickets are available via OFFSónar’s official website, and fans are encouraged to secure their spots quickly before they sell out. The event runs on June 20 from 5 pm to 2 am at the Plaza Mayor stage at the Poble Espanyol.
