LONDON, UK – Junction 2 Marks 10 Years With Phase One Lineup And Format Update

Junction 2

J2 X sees one of London’s most influential electronic music festivals drop some heavyweight names while securing its future with a more focused format.

Junction 2 returns to Boston Manor Park in 2026 with a refined and focused format that reflects both its roots and its future. For its 10th anniversary edition, two iconic stages will form the core of the J2 X experience. Now with more space than ever, The Bridge, an industrial open-air dancefloor set beneath the M4 flyover, will remain at the heart of Junction 2, while The Woods, an intimate woodland space, remains dedicated to deeper, underground sounds, rooted in atmosphere, discovery and connection.

Festival organisers explain, “As we reach our 10th anniversary, it feels like the right moment to reflect on how far we’ve come and how we shape Junction 2 for the years ahead. The past decade has brought incredible highs but also major challenges: rising production costs, a global pandemic, our 2023 cancellation due to industrial action, and a cost-of-living crisis that has changed how many of us experience culture. We’re grateful to still be here, championing cutting-edge electronic music — but to keep going, we need to adapt. From 2026 onwards, Junction 2 will be centred around the two pillars that have always defined the festival: The Bridge and The Woods.”

Over the past decade, Junction 2 has grown into a defining fixture of the UK electronic music calendar, championing underground culture while welcoming some of the most respected names in dance music. This continues into the new format with three distinct days, each representing its own shade of house and techno.

On Saturday 25th July, Junction 2 joins forces with London institution fabric, revealing a first wave of techno pioneers alongside exciting contemporary names, with Nina Kraviz, Jeff Mills, Francesco del Garda, Nicolas Lutz, and Gabrielle Kwarteng b2b Peach. Sunday 26th July explores the more melodic and ethereal sides of house and techno, featuring Miss Monique, Indo Warehouse, Franky Wah, Aaron Hibell, and Carina Lawrence (with major headliner TBA), while Sunday 2nd August focuses on the harder, faster edge of new-school, globally minded techno, with I Hate Models, Funk Tribu, Charlie Sparks, AMMARA, Supergloss, Caravel, Leo Pol, Lammer, and MARCELDUNE.

The Phase One lineup announcement underlines Junction 2’s commitment to delivering a world-class festival for fans across the spectrum of house and techno.

“We’re excited to bring these influential and forward-thinking artists to Boston Manor Park as we celebrate 10 years,” festival organisers said. “By focusing on two flagship stages, we can put more attention into sound, production and the overall experience — refining what truly makes Junction 2 stand out.”

Junction 2 will also be at the heart of The Bridge, a new series of six electronic music events set within Boston Manor Park across two weekends: 24th–26th July and 31st July–2nd August 2026. The Bridge will present a broad programme of artists and promoters across two iconic stages. Already announced is Hedex presents: My Home Is The Rave. Follow @l_w_e for further updates.

J2 X is both a celebration and a reset. A return to foundations, and a moment to mark ten years of sound, community and forward motion, under the Bridge where it all began, and also around the world, with a wider series of events to celebrate a decade of J2. More announcements to follow.
