Across the Netherlands, a new wave of independent energy has been building from the ground up. Meet INDRUIPEN — a young, ambitious collective of friends transforming sold-out house nights into a creative movement that stretches far beyond the dancefloor.
What started as community-driven house and dance events across NL has grown into something bigger: a platform for independent music, creative collaboration, and long-term artistic vision. INDRUIPEN has already proven its ability to mobilize a crowd. With multiple sold-out nights across the Netherlands, the collective has cultivated more than just event hype — they’ve built a loyal, engaged community.
Now, that same grassroots energy is being channeled into original music. On February 20, INDRUIPEN released its first fully independent single “Just Forget It” by Elliot Kings. This marks a defining moment — not only for the collective, but for Elliot Kings himself.

“Just Forget It” represents Elliot Kings’ first official release following a longer period of artistic development. Instead of rushing output, the focus was refinement — shaping a sound that feels both club-ready and emotionally resonant. The result? A track that blends a driving house groove, modern dance-pop accessibility, high-energy forward momentum and melodic hooks built for repeat listens.
Elliot Kings is a DJ and producer bridging the gap between dance-pop accessibility and the deeper, groove-driven side of (hard) house. Rooted in songwriting, his sound lives where emotion, melody, and club energy meet. Before stepping fully into his DJ career, Elliot built a strong foundation as a producer and songwriter, crafting music designed for both radio and personal playlists. That background still shapes his productions today: piano lines and vocals intertwine with driving grooves, creating tracks that move people on and beyond the dancefloor.
His catalogue has accumulated over 7 million Spotify streams, with support from major names in electronic music including AFROJACK, Lucas & Steve, R3HAB, and Mike Williams. A graduate of the Herman Brood Academie and currently studying at the Conservatorium Haarlem, Elliot is now entering a phase focused on long-term artistic growth and full creative control through independent releases.

In 2025, he shared lineups with respected artists such as Michel de Hey, Benwal, Jesse Maas, De Sluwe Vos, Newtone and Million, and performed for large crowds through INDRUIPEN and at venues such as BASIS, OOST (FIXY), De Graanfabriek and Hedon.
Elliot’s sets and productions are driven by connection — rooted in love, passion, and shared energy — creating spaces where music and community naturally merge. “Just Forget It” blends a house-driven groove with modern dance-pop accessibility. It’s energetic and forward-moving, yet melodic enough to stay with you long after the drop. It works at peak hour — but also through headphones on a late-night walk. That crossover sensibility is intentional. It’s about longevity, not just impact.
In an era where many emerging acts look outward for validation, INDRUIPEN is looking inward — toward its own community. INDRUIPEN’s evolution mirrors a broader shift happening in dance culture: collectives becoming labels, communities becoming ecosystems, and events becoming launchpads for original music.
For Elliot Kings, this is a reintroduction. For INDRUIPEN, this is the first chapter of a much larger story. And if their sold-out nights are any indication, the community is ready.
