One week after its release, electrodance artist and producer CAMACHO’s latest album TEARS IN TORREMOLINOS is already making a strong international impact.
Released on December 27, the album has quickly secured placements on Spotify’s editorial playlists All New Dance and Club Hits 2025, placing CAMACHO alongside global names such as HUGEL, Major Lazer, oskar med k, and Diplo.
The album unites some of the most established artists and producers in electrodance with the genre’s next generation of talent, marking a defining moment for its continued evolution. Contributors to the project include names ranging from Skinny Days to Kissimjau , SINA and LOADING, reflecting a deliberate balance between legacy and forward-thinking creativity.
Leading the album’s rollout is the focus track “ORCHIDS,” which has also gained early international traction. The track is currently featured on New Music Friday playlists across Norway, Denmark, Sweden, Iceland, and the United Kingdom, reinforcing the album’s growing reach beyond its core audience.

Drawing inspiration from the golden era of electrodance in the early 2010s, TEARS IN TORREMOLINOS channels the spirit of a time when electronic music was rapidly reshaping the global mainstream. The album pairs that nostalgic energy with a modern, polished edge, resulting in a sound that feels both familiar and current.
At its core, TEARS IN TORREMOLINOS is an emotional yet uncompromisingly hard record, exploring themes of loss, perseverance, and hope. Across high-energy club tracks and more reflective moments, CAMACHO balances raw emotion with festival-ready production, creating an album designed for both deep listening and peak-time dancefloors.
