The Miami native locks in with NYC rapper Fourfive for a hip-hop infused festival track laced with syrup-laced trap beats and hazy, hard-hitting dubstep energy.
Based in Miami and sharpened by years of mainstage pressure, Benda returns to Bassrush Records with “LEANGUT,” a no-frills dubstep single that leans fully into excess, momentum, and the pursuit of the next high. Teaming up with NYC rapper Fourfive, the track frames bass music as a lifestyle—one driven by late nights, blurred focus, and the constant chase for evaluation.
“LEANGUT” opens in rap-first territory, where Fourfive’s stubborn, syrup-heavy flows ride a futuristic trap backbone. His delivery drops with purple-hued lethargy, locked into a haze that feels indulgent and deliberate. That tension snaps the moment the drop lands: Benda yanks the track into full festival mode, unleashing fast-flicking hollow hits, skanking brass leads, and tactile sub-bass engineered for maximum physical impact. The switch-up is abrupt and intentional—rap verses dissolve into weaponized dubstep without warning, designed to detonate on big systems.
Touching on the creative direction he took for his new track, Benda says, “I knew I wanted the intro to lean into a darker, hip-hop–influenced energy to offset the drop. I’ve been a fan of Fourfive for a long time, so bringing him onto the track felt like the right move to set the tone for the single.”

The release follows Benda’s recent “Public Enemies” collaboration with OG Nixin, a cut that earned support from outlets including Dubstep uNk, Find Your Sounds, Beat For Beat, and Skope Mag, to name a few. That momentum carried into a 16-stop ‘Public Enemies’ U.S. tour, with Benda tearing through rooms and festivals alike, from Apocalypse: Zombieland to Soundcheck, DNA Lounge, Myth, Summit, Stereolive, Substation, We All Scream, and Arora.
Benda has become a familiar face across the Insomniac festival landscape, with past appearances at EDC Las Vegas, EDC Orlando, Escape Psycho Circus, Countdown, Beyond Wonderland SoCal, and HARD Summer. His live presence continues to scale, with an upcoming headline date at Sunbar Tempe and support for Excision at the Kia Forum.
Born Niv Ben-David, Benda has steadily built a reputation for high-impact, crowd-forward bass music rooted in dubstep but flexible enough to absorb trap, hip-hop, and festival theatrics. Early mentorship and releases through Borgore’s Buygore ecosystem helped shape his polished yet aggressive sound, while collaborations with scene heavyweights like Excision and Sullivan King pushed his production into heavier, sharper territory. Tracks like “Overload,” “Snake Shot,” “Tinnitus,” and “Hostile” underline a catalog obsessed with momentum, clarity, and low-end dominance.
With “LEANGUT,” Benda sharpens that identity even further. The single captures an artist fully aware of his lane—unapologetically heavy, unapologetically physical—while folding rap sensibility into a drop-first framework built for chaos. It’s another calculated strike in a catalog designed to hit hardest under strobes and stacks, signaling that Benda’s run with Bassrush is far from finished.
Benda’s new single “LEANGUT,” featuring Fourfive, is available on all platforms via Bassrush Records.
