A Monumental First for De Nieuwe Kerk
In its more than 600-year history, De Nieuwe Kerk has never hosted an electronic music event—until now. Known as the site of Dutch royal inaugurations, national commemorations, and world-class exhibitions, this monumental setting will transform into an immersive space of sound, light, and spirit for one unforgettable night.
As the only organization trusted to undertake such an ambitious transformation, Audio Obscura continues its legacy of breaking boundaries. From the legendary Highway Rave to its iconic Rijksmuseum tunnel party, the collective has consistently proven how electronic music can transcend expectations and inhabit the most unexpected spaces.
Honey Dijon x ZO! Gospel Choir – A World Premiere Collaboration
The evening will see a once-in-a-lifetime performance from two powerhouses: Honey Dijon, one of the most influential figures in global electronic music, and the ZO! Gospel Choir, one of the Netherlands’ most celebrated vocal ensembles.
Born in Chicago—the birthplace of house—Honey Dijon has carved out a unique place in music history with her fearless fusion of house, techno, and disco, and her advocacy for diversity, fashion, and art. From underground clubs to the world’s biggest festivals, she remains a defining voice for authenticity and inclusivity.
The ZO! Gospel Choir, renowned for its dynamic blend of soul, R&B, and gospel, has previously performed alongside legends such as Diana Ross, Kamasi Washington, and Gregory Porter. Together with Honey Dijon, they will deliver a powerful journey of rhythm, choreography, and emotion—where gospel harmonies and electronic energy converge to create something profoundly spiritual.
Line-up & Timetable
The night opens with DJ Juliana X, who fuses her Brazilian roots and Rotterdam influences into an electrifying mix of Chicago house, Detroit techno, and splashes of eurodance and acid.
Honey Dijon and the ZO! Gospel Choir will then take the stage for an hour-long live performance, merging gospel’s soul-stirring power with the pulse of electronic music—a collective experience that promises to lift both spirit and body.
