GRAMMY-winning producer and multi-platinum dance music icon AFROJACK, known for global anthems and headlining festivals worldwide, has announced the next evolution of his career following growing momentum behind his house and techno alias and record label, Kapuchon. The project has generated buzz through unreleased IDs supported by artists ranging from Swedish House Mafia and Steve Angello to modern tastemakers including Anyma, Dom Dolla, John Summit, and Peggy Gou.
This new chapter arrives as the Kapuchon Presents AFROJACK Tour, a run of intimate North American dates that brings his Kapuchon sound to the forefront. Tickets go on presale January 28 at 10AM local time, with general on sale January 29 at 10AM local time.
Running from March 5-14, the limited seven-date tour offers fans a rare opportunity to experience AFROJACK’s Kapuchon project in underground club settings. The run will pass through acclaimed dance music venues including Sound Nightclub in Los Angeles, EQ Nightclub in San Diego, Refuge in Brooklyn, CODA in Toronto, StereoBar in Montreal, and more.
As AFROJACK’s sound continues to evolve, Kapuchon has steadily built momentum as both an alias and record label, positioning this year as a breakout moment with several impactful releases on the horizon. Further underscoring Kapuchon’s cultural impact, AFROJACK recently made his Tulum debut with a sunrise B2B set alongside Francis Mercier at Zamna in the jungle, highlighting both his longevity and continued influence in today’s global dance scene.
The tour announcement follows the 15-year anniversary of AFROJACK’s platinum hit “Take Over Control,” a milestone he marked by inviting a globally diverse group of forward-thinking producers to reimagine the track for today’s dance floors. The resulting remix EP mirrors the creative evolution driving the Kapuchon Presents AFROJACK Tour, spanning multiple styles and scenes, from Maddix’s high intensity techno debut at Tomorrowland Brazil and Matt Sassari’s dark, rolling house interpretation to the HILLS remix, which topped Beatport’s Mainstage chart for two weeks and earned support from John Summit and others.
