STAY GOLDEN Announces Debut Album ‘Silent Covenant’ on All Day I Dream. The Bali-based producer makes his debut on the iconic label with a seven-track journey that brings a new, funky, indie dance sound to the All Day I Dream universe.
STAY GOLDEN releases Silent Covenant, his eagerly awaited debut album and first release on Lee Burridge’s All Day I Dream imprint. Across seven tracks, the Bali-based producer explores the invisible connections that shape our lives: the shared moments, memories and emotions that can exist without ever needing to be spoken. At the same time, the album marks a bold statement for the artist and an exciting new direction for one of electronic music’s most legendary labels.
Speaking about the album, STAY GOLDEN commented:
“The strongest connections are often the ones that never need to be spoken. They live in shared moments and the memories we carry with us. Silent Covenant is my way of translating those invisible bonds into music.”
Each track is another step in the same journey, moving through melodic textures, hypnotic rhythms, infectious grooves and moments of deeper introspection. While rooted in the emotional sensibility that defines All Day I Dream, Silent Covenant brings something distinctly different to the label: a more funk-infused, groove-oriented indie dance sound with a stronger emphasis on rhythm and movement.
Rather than leaving organic house behind, STAY GOLDEN broadens its boundaries. The album connects the atmospheric qualities associated with the All Day I Dream world with a more playful, funky and dancefloor-focused approach, creating a sound that feels both familiar and new.
Having attended his first All Day I Dream party in Moscow in 2016, the story behind STAY GOLDEN is as unconventional as the music. Before turning his full attention to production and DJing, he ran an AR/VR and multimedia business creating immersive experiences for corporate brands. That background in technology, visual storytelling and creating immersive environments has since found a new expression through music and events.
A regular performer at Burning Man, he is also the founder of TOTEM Society, an event concept that has grown into a platform for his musical vision, bringing together sound, atmosphere and some of the region’s most influential venues.
Silent Covenant brings that sense of immersion into a full-length format, while also connecting STAY GOLDEN with an impressive lineup of collaborators. Kicking off with four STAY GOLDEN solo original productions, the album also features tracks with Alexey Union, Broken Hill, Kinky Sound, ÜNAM and ANTICALM, bringing together artists from different corners of the contemporary electronic scene.
For All Day I Dream, Silent Covenant represents an expansion of the label’s musical universe. Founded by Lee Burridge and Matthew Dekay, the label has spent more than a decade exploring emotional and melancholic shades of house and techno, growing from its beginnings on a Brooklyn rooftop into a global community and one of electronic music’s most recognisable brands.
STAY GOLDEN enters that world with a sound of his own; one that retains the emotion, atmosphere and sense of escape at the heart of All Day I Dream, while opening the door to a more groove-led, funky and indie-dance-driven future.
