Born and raised in Queens, CID is a New York City native making his long-awaited return to Insomniac Records with his follow-up single. “Loaded Gun” is a groove-inducing tech-house track created specifically to open his sets with a bang. With commanding electroclash-style vocals, the single’s hot-headed intensity is mirrored by a hefty indie dance groove, which unfurls through rubbery basslines, sharp percussive arrangements, rattling melodic accents, and buzzsaw synths that zip like a Gatling gun.
