Uchu Plxy Unveils New Tech House Anthem “Glitch.” The newest release on UFO Recordz channels digital distortion into a high-energy club record.
Released on 19 June 2026 through UFO Recordz, “Glitch” sees Uchu Plxy return with a dynamic tech house production fueled by deep basslines, driving grooves, and inventive sound design. Crafted with the dancefloor in mind, the track balances infectious energy with a distinctive concept, delivering a listening experience that is as engaging as it is immersive.
More than just a club track, “Glitch” reflects on the fragmented nature of life in a technology-driven world, where identity can feel fluid and genuine emotion is often buried beneath constant digital stimulation. Instead of relying on lyrical storytelling, Uchu Plxy conveys this theme through expressive production, weaving together distorted melodies, broken sonic textures, and constantly evolving rhythms that embrace unpredictability while remaining tightly connected.
EXCLUSIVE INTERVIEW
“Glitch” explores the idea of disconnection in a hyper-digital world. What first inspired that concept, and why did you want to express it through music?
The idea for “Glitch” came from looking at how connected we’ve become through technology while, in many ways, feeling more disconnected from ourselves and each other. We live in a world of constant notifications, endless scrolling, and information overload, where everything moves so fast that it’s easy to lose sight of the present moment. That contrast really fascinated me.
For me, the track isn’t just about technology malfunctioning—it’s about embracing our own imperfections. Sometimes the “glitches” in life lead us somewhere unexpected, and those moments often become the most meaningful. I wanted listeners to lose themselves in the energy of the music while reflecting on the balance between the digital world and real human experience.
The title “Glitch” suggests that imperfections can become something meaningful. What does the word “glitch” represent to you personally?
“Glitch” represents those unexpected moments that disrupt the path we think we’re supposed to be on. Most people see glitches as mistakes or failures, but I’ve come to see them as opportunities for growth, creativity, and change. Some of the best experiences in life happen when things don’t go according to plan. Sometimes the “Glitch” isn’t the problem – It’s the beginning of something new.
The track combines a bouncing tech house groove with experimental sound design. How did you balance making it both conceptual and dancefloor-ready?
The dance floor always comes first! My goal is to create tracks that make people move while also making them feel something. I never want a concept to get in the way of the energy—it should enhance it. Furthermore, I think the best electronic music works on multiple levels. If you’re listening at home, you can appreciate the concept and the details. But if you’re in a packed club at 1 a.m., you don’t need to know the story—you just need to feel it. That’s the balance I always aim for: music that’s dance-worthy first, but with enough emotion and atmosphere to leave a lasting impression long after the night is over.
There are moments of distortion, tension, and release throughout the track. How did you approach creating that sense of unpredictability in the production?
Unpredictability is what keeps people engaged. This is created by introducing moments of tension through distorted textures, chopped vocals, and subtle rhythmic changes, then resolving them with a strong groove or melodic payoff. It’s almost like controlled chaos.

Your music often feels cinematic and immersive. How important is storytelling when you’re producing electronic music?
That said, my priority is always creating music that belongs on the dance floor. I want people to move first and foremost then walk away feeling like they experienced something.
“Glitch” touches on themes of identity, technology, and human emotion. Do you think electronic music is uniquely suited to exploring those ideas?
Absolutely! Electronic Music allows for so many different avenues of communicating emotions and identity; I think that’s beautiful! I’ll be the first to admit that I don’t love all the subgenres of Electronic Music however I love how it makes people feel, including myself!

How has your production style evolved since you first started making music, and where does “Glitch” fit into that journey?
My production style has evolved through a lot of experimentation, curiosity, and simply spending time learning the craft. Every track teaches me something new, and I don’t think that process ever really ends. No matter how much experience I gain, I’ll always consider myself a student of music. There’s always another technique to learn, another sound to discover, or another perspective that can make me a better producer.
“Glitch” represents an important step in that journey because it reflects a growing confidence in my own sound. Instead of chasing trends, I focused on creating something that felt authentic to me.
Looking ahead, I hope every release shows growth in some way. I never want to become comfortable or predictable. As long as I’m learning, experimenting, and finding new ways to connect with listeners through music, I’ll feel like I’m moving in the right direction.
When producing a track like “Glitch,” do you picture listeners experiencing it in a club, on headphones, or somewhere else entirely?
Being a DJ before becoming a producer, I always envision a club or rave first! It’s what drives my sound as a whole… the rest will follow.
The release continues to build what you’ve described as your own creative universe. How would you define the world of Uchu Plxy for someone discovering your music for the first time?
To me, Uchu Plxy is where music, emotion, and imagination collide. It’s a universe where the dance floor becomes an escape from everyday life—a place to disconnect from the noise and reconnect through sound. I want every release to feel like a new chapter in that world, inviting listeners to lose themselves in the music while discovering something new about themselves along the way.

Looking ahead, does “Glitch” signal the direction of your future releases, or are there new concepts and sounds you’re excited to explore next?
“Glitch” definitely represents the direction I’m heading, but I never want to put creative limits on where the music can go. Every release is an opportunity to explore new ideas while staying true to the energy and emotion that define my sound.
I’m excited to keep experimenting with fresh concepts, pushing my production further, and finding new ways to surprise listeners. At the core, though, my mission stays the same: creating music that people can lose themselves in on the dance floor while telling a story that leaves a lasting impression. I think the best is still ahead, and I’m excited for people to hear what’s coming next.
