French dubstep phenom HURTBOX joins forces with American rapper E the profit on a riddim track made to bottle up the raw chaos of a circle pit.
South of France producer HURTBOX makes his return to Bassrush Records with “JUMP,” a savage new riddim single featuring American hip-hop artist E the Profit. Designed to replicate the unbridled chaos of a circle pit, the track arrives September 26th as a collision of bass music aggression and raw rap energy.
Built for total destruction on the dancefloor, “JUMP” thrives on distortion and unpredictability. HURTBOX layers sledgehammer synth strikes with drilling lead bursts, glitch-driven vocal cues, and relentless low-end pressure, engineering a soundscape that mirrors the adrenaline of being flung into the center of moshpit mayhem. Between the sonic demolition, E the Profit cuts through with hypnotic, autotune-laced hooks, weaving hip-hop grit into dark, atmospheric synth passages before the track snaps back into riddim devastation. HURTBOX’s ties with Bassrush run deep, having first landed on the label with his remix of ATLiens’ “Crazy” from their ‘Space Cathedral (Remixes)’ package in 2023—a release supported live by Excision and MUERTE. Since then, his catalog has expanded with collaborations alongside Aweminus, Chibs, Shiverz, and BAW, as well as a ferocious remix for SVDDEN DEATH. His ascent has been punctuated by standout moments like his sold-out set at Montreal’s Northern Invasion and a recent play at Lost Lands, where his sound made a maximum impact on the festival’s biggest stages.
