Seoul-born, Paris-based producer and DJ Didi Han is gearing up to share her highly anticipated EP ‘I Dream’, out now via Roche Musique.
With her upcoming EP ‘I Dream’, Didi Han opens a bold and deeply personal new chapter in her artistic journey, a sonic exploration of dreams, hope, identity, love, and transformation. Written over the course of three years, following her life-changing move from Seoul to Paris, the project reflects a period of profound emotional evolution and sharpened artistic vision.
Each track on ‘I Dream’ encapsulates a distinct aspect of longing and imagination. From the gentle yearning for a better world in ‘Paper Plane’, to the kinetic nostalgia of ‘Youth’, the euphoric vulnerability of ‘Floating in the Sky’, the cathartic energy of ‘I Sing’, and the introspective pull of ‘Drown’, the EP reaches its emotional apex with the title track, ‘I Dream’. Tying these pieces together is a recurring motif, the act of dreaming as both emotional escape and radical reimagining, conveyed through club-ready rhythms, pop-laced textures, and Didi’s ever-evolving sonic palette.
Didi’s musical curiosity started early and ran deep. “I liked exploring different genres,” she recalls, tracing her early inspirations back to artists like The Chemical Brothers, Nirvana, Hotel Costes compilations, and 2000s club hip hop. Over time, her tastes expanded to include electronic pioneers such as Digitalism, Alva Noto, Beach House, Nicolas Jaar, Flying Lotus, Aphex Twin, Gesaffelstein, and Grimes, all of whom shaped her eclectic approach.
Today, Didi Han’s sound draws influence from genre-bending artists like Four Tet, Jamie xx, and FKA Twigs, while carving out a space entirely her own. With early support from tastemakers like Rinse FM, NR, and Divine, and an ever-growing global fanbase, she remains driven not just by success, but by the pursuit of creative breakthroughs.
Talking on the project and her rise, Didi Han explains: “Music is full of those moments, I’ve had many, and I’m always chasing the next.”
