Canadian producer Lizdek joins forces with Argentina’s Dabow for their goliath bass collab, a fusion between the most punishing elements of trap and dubstep.
Kelowna-based trap trailblazer Lizdek joins forces with Argentinian beat maestro Dabow for their electrifying new single, “NO SPACE,” landing August 15 via Insomniac’s BREAK ROOM imprint. Combining Lizdek’s gritty, experimental dubstep leanings with Dabow’s signature crisp percussion and immersive textures, “NO SPACE” emerges as a visceral fusion that reshapes genre boundaries into dizzying sonic chaos.
Debuted by Lizdek during a standout set aboard BREAK ROOM’s art car at EDC Las Vegas, “NO SPACE” hits with immediate force, twisting haunting vocal layers and bleeping tonal bursts around razor-sharp percussion and distorted bass pulses. Lizdek’s knack for blending lush atmospheres with ferocious sound design meets Dabow’s relentless innovation, resulting in a trap weapon purpose-built to push festival sound systems to their limits.

Sharing his appreciation for his counterpart on the collab, Lizdek explains: “‘NO SPACE’ was one of those very naturally born songs for me, and I suppose it helps that I’ve been a huge fan of Dabow’s music for a long time. Songs like ‘Olé’ and ‘Eyes’ with Breaux were some of my favorites in trap music during that era, so it felt really cool to have our brains come together for this. Making the artwork for this one was also a very enjoyable experience, and I’m grateful for BREAK ROOM giving us that leeway for self-expression.”
Touching on the inescapable effect of their new single, Dabow describes the track, saying, “This song is meant to melt your speakers. The drop is hard, but then, it gets twisted over and over again. Trap and dubstep are blended together in a unique way. Drink that and get energized! “NO SPACE” leaves no room for anything but ears getting liquified; it’s a fully packed bass banger.”

Lizdek’s ascent through the electronic underground includes co-signs from heavyweight tastemakers Skrillex, RL Grime, Alison Wonderland, Four Tet, and NGHTMRE, as well as notable collaborations with boundary-pushing producers Hex Cougar, Godlands, and NAZAAR. His bold flips of tracks by Central Cee and Black Eyed Peas have solidified him as a rapidly rising force, with Spotify and Apple Music consistently spotlighting his genre-defying style, landing editorial from the likes of Trap Mojito and Trap & Bass.
Argentina’s Dabow is fresh off his first US tour, highlighted by standout performances at DEF and Maybe Forever. His meticulous beat crafting has earned global acclaim, including spins from Diplo, Zeds Dead, Dillon Francis, TroyBoi, and Mr. Carmack, alongside festival placements at HARD Summer, Coachella, Ultra, and Lollapalooza Argentina. Dabow’s polished percussion-driven production has also graced projects for Puma, Rihanna’s Savage x Fenty show, and the Saints Row video game soundtrack.
Kelowna’s Lizdek and Argentina’s Dabow prove their undeniable synergy on “NO SPACE,” a track that pushes trap’s sonic possibilities with precision and intensity. Out August 15 via BREAK ROOM Records, the single stands as a bold showcase of two producers at the top of their craft, ready to leave a lasting mark on electronic music’s forward-thinking landscape.

Lizdek made his foray into electronic music with an intricate and lush sound evident in his earlier works. He subsequently garnered recognition as a regular artist associated with Sable Valley, showcasing a more fierce musical persona. The dual nature of his musical style played a pivotal role in establishing his presence, as reflected in collaborations with contemporaries like Hex Cougar, NAZAAR and Godlands. In recent times, Lizdek has received support from prominent figures in the trap and dubstep scenes, including Skrillex, RL Grime, Four Tet, NGHTMRE, Alison Wonderland, Boombox Cartel, Eliminate, Wavedash and others. This recognition, along with his more recent success through EDM reworks of Central Cee and Black Eyed Peas records, underscores his growing impact and influence within the electronic music sphere.
