Pegassi Reprises His Signature Bells Sound via Clobbering Hardgroove Single “Get Up” via HARD Recs – OUT NOW

Pegassi

The Antwerp native returns to form with his signature bell-laden aesthetic, arriving in the shape of his dark hardgroove single in anticipation of his upcoming North American tour.

Belgium’s Pegassi makes his HARD Recs debut with “Get Up,” a clobbering hardgroove single primed to rally dancefloors worldwide. Out September 12, the track lands in the midst of his global summer tour and sets the tone for his upcoming U.S. dates, including appearances at Escape Halloween, Amnesia Ibiza, Awakenings Festival, and Sziget Festival.

“Get Up” embodies Pegassi’s signature rave-ready aesthetic while expanding into darker, harder territory. A murky low-end undercurrent powers the production, with metallic clanks, throbbing bass plucks, and spectral layers creating a relentless sense of pressure. Detuned synth flourishes and commanding vocal chops punctuate the groove, while the return of his fan-favorite bell tones sharpens the track’s hypnotic edge. The result is a driving techno weapon designed for peak-time chaos and built to carry the energy of his forthcoming U.S. tour.

Recounting the clamouring from his die-hard audience that led to the track’s creation, Pegassi says, “A lot of people were in my DMs asking about my notorious ‘bells’ and begging to ‘bring the bells back.’ And I just wanted something different, so I went digging for sounds. Cooked this one up and it embodies the energy I want to bring on my first US tour in September. This one is for the fans!”

The Antwerp native has quickly carved a space in the underground with his fusion of trance, eurodance, techno, and house. His breakout remix of Rae Sremmurd’s “No Type” has amassed over 11 million streams, while follow-up club anthems like “Yoyoyo” cemented his reputation as a festival staple. His music has been championed by a who’s-who of tastemakers including Fred Again, Marlon Hoffstadt, TRYM, VTSS, DJ Boring, BLK, Anetha, and Bad Boombox.

On the live circuit, Pegassi’s high-energy sets have brought him to Tomorrowland, Boiler Room, Modul’air, and beyond, with his Sweet Nothing event series further expanding his influence as both an artist and curator.

With “Get Up” marking his HARD Recs debut, Pegassi continues to sharpen his forward-pushing vision of European club culture while stepping boldly into the international spotlight.

Pegassi is the creative alter ego of Sam Huybrecht, an electronic music producer from Belgium, whose genre-defying sound is pushing the boundaries of eurodance, trance, techno and house. Pegassi’s journey to the forefront of the electronic music scene began with his remix of ‘No Type’, which shot to #1 on Soundcloud’s global charts, marking the start of a rapid rise. His breakout club anthem ‘Yoyoyo’ continues to ignite dance floors worldwide, becoming a favorite among many of the scene’s top artists.

Pegassi’s bold, energetic productions, spanning a wide array of genres, have garnered support from key tastemakers like Marlon Hoffstadt, Anetha, Trym, Bad Boombox, Malugi, Job Jobse, VTSS, Solomun, and many more. Recently, Pegassi collaborated with DJ IP on the well-received track ‘Wanna Feel’, and fans eagerly await his highly anticipated release ‘No Go Zone’, featuring Dutch hip-hop icon Bokoesam. Pegassi has performed at some of Europe’s most iconic venues and festivals, including Thuishaven, Mondo Disko, Junkyard, RSO, Tomorrowland, Else, Intercell, Modul’air, BCCO, Teletech, and a memorable Boiler Room broadcast that has garnered widespread attention.

Beyond his success as a performer, Pegassi has launched his own event series and label, Sweet Nothing, through which he plans to tour the world while releasing music from up-and-coming talents. With major projects on the horizon and his unique ability to blend genres, Pegassi is poised to leave an indelible mark on the global electronic music landscape.
