FunkT!de and Sunora Return with Feel-Good Summer Anthem ‘Disco Voices’. Out now via SUNCTURE, the new single marks the latest chapter in the growing creative partnership between the two artists.
Following a strong opening run of releases on their newly launched label SUNCTURE, Sunora now reunite with FunkT!de for ‘Disco Voices’, an uplifting slice of sun-drenched house music infused with soulful vocals, infectious grooves and timeless disco influences, arriving June 26.
Built around rich male vocals, funk-fuelled basslines, shimmering guitar licks and expressive saxophone flourishes, ‘Disco Voices’ channels the spirit of classic disco through a contemporary house lens. Iridescent and dancefloor-ready, the track captures the warmth, emotion and musicality that have quickly become hallmarks of the wider SUNCTURE sound.
The release marks another chapter in the growing creative partnership between Sunora and FunkT!de, whose chemistry first came to life on ‘Echoes of Light’; the three-track EP that launched SUNCTURE in April. Since then, FunkT!de has remained a key figure within the label’s early development, following up with the imprint’s second release, ‘Hold It Right There’, in May.
Since its launch earlier this year, SUNCTURE has quickly established itself as a home for groove-led, emotionally resonant electronic music. Founded by Sunora as a platform for music driven by instinct, atmosphere and timeless songwriting, the label has steadily built momentum through a catalogue that balances melodic depth with dancefloor appeal.
For FunkT!de, ‘Disco Voices’ further showcases the producer’s ability to blend groove, musicality and modern production into records that feel both nostalgic and forward-thinking. Together with Sunora, the collaboration reflects a shared appreciation for house music’s roots while embracing a fresh, contemporary perspective.
Sunora — the collaborative project of Chertkovski and Alar — continue to emerge as one of the most exciting new names in indie dance. Combining deep studio craftsmanship with organic grooves, vintage-inspired instrumentation and immersive sound design, the duo have already attracted support from BBC Radio 1 and key tastemakers across the global electronic music community.
Since launching the project, earlier this year, Sunora has been featured across more than 50 international media outlets, while earning support from BBC Radio 1, Ibiza Global Radio and over 60 radio stations worldwide. Their music has achieved multiple Beatport Indie Dance chart entries, including a Top 10 placement for their collaboration alongside Lee Burridge, “Bianco Montana”, and has been championed by artists such as Adriatique, Jamie Jones, Roger Sanchez, Vintage Culture, Damian Lazarus, Chris Lake and Nic Fanciulli. The duo also regularly appears in the BeatStats Indie Dance artist rankings, reflecting their growing presence within the global electronic music scene.
