Delon Unveils Traces. A deeply personal journey through melodic house, organic grooves and the emotions that remain long after the music fades.
Released today, May 13, 2026, ‘Traces’ marks a new chapter for Delon, one of the South of France’s most respected electronic artists. Known for crafting emotional, timeless club music that resonates equally with underground electronic lovers and wider dancefloor audiences, Delon continues to evolve while staying true to the essence of house music.
Built around a series of artistic encounters, ‘Traces’ brings together singers and collaborators from the UK, Spain, the United States, Canada and Latin America, creating a deeply human and international project. Rooted in deep house and melodic house, the album blends balearic warmth, organic textures and subtle afro influences with an introspective energy that runs throughout each track.
Founder of the iconic Apéro Techno movement and head of Way Of House, Delon has spent more than two decades shaping electronic culture across Montpellier and the Mediterranean coast. With ‘Traces’, he explores a more personal and organic side of his sound without losing sight of the dancefloor. Solar yet reflective, the album is not about escape, but about what stays behind: emotions, connections and traces left in time.

INTERVIEW
How would you classify your music?
Melodic House, Indie Dance, Organic
Who are some of your top 5 musical influences?
The Cure, Maceo Plex, Rufus Du Sol, Eric Prydz, The Pixies
What do you want fans to take from your music?
A real emotional connection. I want people to feel something — not just dance, but travel, disconnect and reconnect through the music. There’s also a sense of positive melancholy in my sound — something deep but uplifting at the same time.
What is the best concert you have been to? What do you like most about playing live?
The Cure at the Royal Albert Hall and Daft Punk in the Nîmes Arena are two defining memories. Beyond that, what I love most about playing is the instant feedback — reading the crowd, building tension and creating a shared moment that only exists right there.
Is there a song on your latest CD release here that stands out as your personal favorite, and why?
“TRACES” stands out. It really represents the core of the project — emotional, introspective and honest. I also wrote the lyrics, so there’s a deeper personal connection to it.
How have you evolved as an artist over the last year?
I’ve become more focused and intentional. Less about quantity, more about direction, identity and long-term vision — both musically and strategically.
If you could meet, play a gig, co-write a song, have dinner, have a drink with any band or artist (dead or alive) who would it be?
Eric Prydz or RÜFÜS DU SOL — for their vision, their ability to create timeless emotional music and their consistency at a global level.
What’s next for you?
The full rollout of TRACES, with key shows in Ibiza (2–3 dates confirmed), a tour of 30+ dates through summer until the end of August, and continued development of Way Of House as a label, event platform and creative ecosystem.
