DJ DekStir will tell you he is an entertainer, not just a DJ or Producer. He has become a favorite among partygoers & has been rocking dance floors for over a decade. DekStir has played alongside some of SA’s biggest acts, including Black Coffee, DJ Kent, Goodluck, The Kiffness, Timo ODV, Cassper Nyovest, DJ Fresh, Daniel Baron, Sketchy Bongo, Chunda Munki & many more.

Also holding residencies at venues, across Gauteng, Margate, Potchefstroom, Mozambique & including a 3 & a half year residency at Sun City (Resort Artist). He also held a residency on 947’s BlocParty with MacG from August 2015 to August 2016 producing mixes for the show every Saturday Night.

As a Producer DekStir released to multiple Record Labels, including an Artist signing to David Gresham Records. One of his achievements would e winning the remix contest for Goodluck’s “The Storm” in 2015. Also releasing the official remix for Lakota Silva’s “Do Re Mi”, published by Next Music Records. The track was released on the Ministry of Sound Annual 2016 Compilation Album online & in all major music stores.

DJ DekStir has had the privilege of releasing singles with Connell Cruise, Jade McDonald and The Voice SA 2017 Runner Up Josh Ansley. 2019 saw DJ DekStir feature on the #947Mixat6 with DJ Fresh as well as releasing new music played across the world.

DekStir has reached over 10 million listeners across all radio platforms. DekStir also successfully launched his own merchandise, which includes fitness wear, t-shirts, sweaters & coffee mugs. 2020 will see DJ DekStir take on a new shape in the music & entertainment world. This year DJ DekStir will include the live element in his shows. DekStir has teamed up with a vocalist as well as a dance crew!
