Antima Combines Metal Aggression With Epic High Fantasy on Darkwave-Powered Dubstep Single “Black Speech” via Gud Vibrations – OUT NOW

Antima

Italian heavyweight dubstep producer releases his follow-up single on NGHTMRE and SLANDER’s label with his third offering, an epic and cinematic slab of darkwave-laced dubstep.

Italian producer Antima returns to Gud Vibrations with “Black Speech,” a punishing new single that sharpens his masked persona into its most ominous form yet. Marking his third release on the imprint since 2024, the track reinforces Antima’s place within the darker corridors of modern dubstep, where metal-tinged aggression, cinematic atmosphere, and raw sound design converge.

“Black Speech” opens with eerie classical choral vocalizations that immediately set a ritualistic tone, unfolding over darkwave melodies and sweeping symphonic tension. The restraint doesn’t last long. Distorted sub-bass begins to creep forward as the arrangement fractures into laser-laced trench drops, each hit engineered for maximum psychological pressure. It’s dubstep that hits hard and drills inward, weaponizing negative space, grit, and menace to unsettling effect.

Speaking to the epic vibe he channeled for his latest single, Antima says, “Main inspiration for the track has been ‘Lord Of The Rings’ books.

The release follows Antima’s recent “Vortex” and his Gud Vibrations debut “Bleeding Eyes,” forming a cohesive trilogy of shadow-heavy statements that have steadily expanded his international footprint. Support has poured in from outlets including Find Your Sounds, Reinelex Music, Frontview Magazine, Vents Magazine, Dubstep Neon, and 7Clouds Dubstep, while his music has found a natural home in live settings alongside heavyweights like Black Tiger Sex Machine and Kai Wachi during the ‘Skull Machine’ Tour.

Antima

Originally from Italy, Antima has spent over nine years refining his sound, first cutting his teeth under earlier aliases inspired by the sound design titans of the 2010s era. Since then, releases on major bass labels, including Disciple and Gud Vibrations, have earned him support from scene leaders such as SLANDER, NGHTMRE, Kai Wachi, and Oddprophet. His résumé extends to performances at globally recognized bass events like Rampage and Dante Bass, as well as collaborations and appearances tied to Code Pandorum’s dark bass orbit.

With “Black Speech,” Antima doubles down on the sinister identity he’s been carving out: uncompromising, theatrical, and unapologetically heavy. The single stands as another decisive step forward, aligning perfectly with Gud Vibrations’ forward-facing bass ethos while pushing deeper into the bleak, visceral end of the dubstep spectrum.

Originally from Italy, Antima started making music more than 9 years ago under other aliases inspired by the sound design used by the biggest names of 2010ʼs era. After many releases on major labels such as Disciple and Gud Vibrations, he gained support from the more prominent names in the scene like Kai Wachi, Oddprophet and Slander.

Antima’s new single “Vortex” is available on all platforms via Gud Vibrations.
