LA’s genre-defying outlaw returns to NGHTMRE and SLANDER’s label with his new 5-track offering, a raw and action-packed array of trap, dubstep, bass house, and techno.
Los Angeles producer TRXGGX fires back onto Gud Vibrations with his destructive new five-track project ‘RXGER CLUB!,’ dropping today. Known for forging bass weapons that collide trap, dubstep, house, and techno, the rising phenom builds a package designed for the mosh pit: raw, unrelenting, and engineered for chaos.
Introducing his new body of work and touching on some of the sonic components incorporated into its collective whole, TRXGGX shares: “The ‘RXGER CLUB!’ EP features five tracks designed for listeners seeking sounds that break beyond the mainstream. Raw, aggressive, and packed with high energy, it fuses trap, dubstep, bass house, and techno into a cohesive, powerful statement. With heavy low-end, distorted textures, and mind-bending leads, this release pushes forward without compromise. A bold offering for those who crave intensity and innovation.”
The EP erupts with “redSKY,” a cinematic introduction that unravels into lacerating synths, eerie whistles, and ferocious breakbeat fills before detonating in a trap-driven finale. As the lead track of the EP, it captures TRXGGX’s knack for pairing hook-driven melodies with uncompromising low-end chaos.
The momentum carries into the title cut, “RXGER CLUB!,” where murky synths writhe beneath siren-like leads until the floor drops into a brutal trap switch-up, flexing club-primed grooves fused with low-end impact. Released in July, the single earned support from tastemakers like DJ Snake and coverage from FrontView Magazine, Skope Mag, and Beat For Beat. Previously-released single “ALERT” (June 13) expanded on TRXGGX’s Gud Vibrations debut “Feel This” from last year. Acid-drenched basslines churn under chopped vocals and relentless breakbeat fills, spiraling the track into a volatile surge of pressure and release.
The back half of the EP introduces fresh weapons: “CHRXME” begins with dreamy melodies and ghostly vocal textures before mutating into violent trap drums and serrated bass screeches, punctuated by distorted screams that amplify its peak-time energy. Closing track “x tll dth x” distills TRXGGX’s sound design into its most uncompromising form—overdriven basses squeal and squelch over a trap-dubstep hybrid, cementing the finale as the heaviest statement of the collection.
Beyond the studio, TRXGGX continues to light up major stages. He joins SLANDER’s ‘Voyager’ Tour at Ritz Ybor, following explosive performances at Bass Canyon, Lost Lands, and Academy LA. His growing catalog includes high-profile collaborations such as “KXLLA” with DJ Diesel and “SIDE2SIDE” with Flosstradamus. He was recently roped in by DJ Snake and Crankdat for remix duties for their collab “Big Bang.”
It was followed by a full-fledged single, “Bring the House Down,” alongside DJ Snake and Dillon Francis—as part of the former’s third studio album ‘Nomad,’ which landed them the cover of Spotify’s Dubstep Don. TRXGGX’s fast-climbing trajectory is felt throughout the scene with support from some of the leading figures in dance, notably having his banger “BXG STEPPA” dropped by heavyweights Marshmello and Martin Garrix during their back-to-back set at Red Rocks.
He’s also earned recognition from both of the Gud Vibrations cofounders, linking up with NGHTMRE to unleash a VIP of the A$AP Ferg and Bekon-assisted single “Torch.” SLANDER subsequently pulled him in to contribute to their ‘Broken Hearted (Remixes)’ package, one of 14 reworks of their single with San Holo and Julia Church, issued on their Heaven Sent label.
